ECAPS Welcomes Stefan Gustafsson as Chairman of the Board

We are pleased to welcome Stefan Gustafsson as the new Chairman of the Board at ECAPS. Stefan brings extensive leadership and strategic expertise in the space and defense sectors, developed through his work across international markets. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President at the Swedish Space Corporation, where he led Corporate Strategy and Strategic Security, focusing particularly on the U.S. market while also overseeing projects in Europe, Asia, South America, and beyond. From 2021 to 2023, Stefan chaired the European Commercial Spaceport Forum, underscoring his commitment to advancing innovation in the European and global commercial space industries.

Stefan’s distinguished career includes a notable tenure in the Swedish Armed Forces, where he held pivotal roles that contributed to national defense and security advancements. His professional influence is recognized through his membership in prestigious institutions, including the Royal Swedish Academy of War Sciences, the Royal Swedish Society of Naval Sciences, and the French Aerospace Academy. He is also an alumnus of the U.S. Naval Command College.
