  • About ECAPS

    ECAPS AB is a leading manufacturer of rocket engines for space applications using the environmentally benign propellant LMP-103S, which is a greener and safer alternative to conventional toxic rocket propellants. ECAPS currently exports our thrusters worldwide. ECAPS High Performance Green Propulsion (HPGP ®) is a world-class product manufactured at our facilities in Stockholm. We are in the process of industrializing our HPGP technology and are increasing series production of thrusters. We look to massively expand our business in the coming year investing in new production facilities, a lively R&D program and make a push to open up new markets for our world-class technology.

    Your role

    As Propulsion System Lead you will lead our propulsion system design and development. The work is diverse and can include tasks such as design/architecture, requirements handling and verification, components sourcing and technical sales support to preparation and review of supporting documentation. In addition, the role may include work on the propulsion system components, review of drawings and supporting test and spacecraft fueling campaigns on launch sites around the world. The role will support positioning the company as a leader in the space propulsion industry and adjacent markets.

    Your profile

    To succeed in the role as Propulsion Systems Lead at ECAPS, you are driven, methodical and have an ability to solve problems. The tasks place high demands on quality, innovation and your ability to integrate in the team.

    Some key elements and required qualifications of the role are summarized below:

    CAD proficiency, preferably with PTC Creo.

    Proficiency in engineering drawings (GPS is meritorious).

    Calm and methodical personality.

    Knowledge in mechanics, heat transfer, materials.

    University degree (MSc or equivalent) in a relevant field of engineering.

    Experience with aerospace propulsion systems.

    Fluency in English, both speech and writing

    Good communicator and team player

    Cleanroom experience

    Your Role

    As a Customer Program Manager at ECAPS, you will play a crucial role in our interactions with customers, ensuring their needs and expectations are met with every project delivered.     Key Responsibilities:

    Customer Advocacy: Act as the primary contact for our customers, advocating for their needs within ECAPS and ensuring effective communication.

    Program Oversight: Guarantee the timely, on-budget delivery of projects from inception to completion, aligning with customer expectations and our strategic goals.

    Bid and Proposal Leadership: Oversee the bid process, collaborating with technical and commercial teams to craft proposals that meet client needs.

    Strategic Planning: Engage in business planning and strategic discussions, offering insights from the customer perspective to influence our future direction.

    Performance Optimization: Continually enhance project performance in line with key performance indicators and customer satisfaction.

    Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain regular interaction with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and fostering strong, productive relationships.

    Your Profile:

    Proven Experience: Solid background in project management, customer relations, and bid management, ideally within the aerospace or high-tech industries.

    Communication Excellence: Outstanding ability to communicate with and understand the needs of both internal teams and external clients.

    Technical Acumen: A technical background is beneficial, alongside a keen interest in the business and technological facets of the space industry.

    Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills, with a methodical approach to tackling challenges and providing solutions.

    Adaptability: Capable of adapting to a rapidly changing environment, managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

     Din roll: 

    Som kemiingenjör på ECAPS kommer du att spela en viktig roll i att stödja både produktion och utveckling genom en mängd olika uppgifter för att säkerställa företagets leveranser av produkter och tjänster. Huvuddelen av ditt arbete kommer att ske i vårt kemilaboratorium eller i renrumsmiljö, men vissa administrativa uppgifter är också inkluderade. Tjänsten innefattar arbete med exportkontrollerade produkter, varför vi måste ställa krav på medborgarskap. Du kommer att arbeta i våra lokaler i Solna, men visst resande kan komma att ingå.  

     Huvudsakliga arbetsuppgifter: 

    Tillverka och analysera förbränningskatalysatorer som är viktiga komponenter i våra raketmotorer. 

    Stödja produktionsprocessen av vårt bränsle och hjälpa till med administrationen under försäljnings- och exportprocessen. 

    Medverka i aktiviteter för genomförandet av tankning av satelliter med vårt bränsle. 

    Utföra precisionsrengöring och verifiering av komponenter enligt givna procedurer. 

    Övervaka vårt kemikalielager och ansvara för återanskaffning genom användning av vårt ERP-system. 

    Administrera ECAPS hantering av kemiskt avfall. 

    Koordinera och utföra underhåll av lokaler och utrustning. 

     Kvalifikationer: 

    Högskoleingenjörs- eller kandidatexamen i kemi eller ekvivalent utbildning/erfarenhet. 

    Mycket goda kunskaper i svenska och engelska, både i tal och skrift. 

    Medborgarskap i Sverige eller annat NATO-land, ett EU-land, Australien, Japan, Nya Zeeland eller Schweiz (ej dubbelt medborgarskap) 

    Körkort för personbil 

    Meriterande kvalifikationer: 

    Erfarenhet av liknande arbetsuppgifter med motsvarande kvalitetskrav. 

    Erfarenhet av arbete med kemikalier och trycksatta gaser med tillhörande riskhantering. 

    Erfarenhet av arbete i renrumsmiljö. 

    Personliga egenskaper: 

    God samarbetsförmåga och noggrannhet 

    Förmåga till självständigt arbete och att följa fastställda procedurer 

    Grundläggande kvalitets-, risk- och säkerhetsmedvetenhet  

    Lösningsorienterad attityd, speciellt vid icke-rutinmässiga uppgifter
